2020 for JESUS - Day 226: JESUS is CHRIST... GOD... CHRIST JESUS...

Each morning, 

I begin my morning devotional

by writing these arrows and letters 

in my daily journal:   

RC-

Raise with Christ;

SAC-

Seeking Above where Christ is;

SMA-

Setting my Mind on things Above;

DLHC-

I have Died and my Life is Hidden with Christ;

CLAG-

when Christ who is my Life Appears, 

then I will appear with Him in Glory!

.
That is one of the ways I begin my day, reminding myself of these 4 verses and the commitment I made to CHRIST, as described in Romans 6.

Colossians 3:1-4

“Therefore, if you have been raised up with CHRIST,

keep seeking the things above, where CHRIST is, 

seated at the right hand of GOD. 

² Set your mind on the things above,

not on the things that are on earth. 

³ For you have died and your life is hidden with CHRIST in GOD. 

⁴ When CHRIST, WHO is our life, is revealed (appears), then you also will be revealed (appear) with HIM in glory.”

Romans 6 

"...We are those who have died to sin; 

how can we live in it any longer? 

3 Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into CHRIST JESUS were baptized into his death? 

4 We were therefore buried with HIM through baptism into death in order that, just as CHRIST was raised from the dead through the glory of THE FATHER, we too may live a new life.

5 For if we have been united with HIM in a death like HIS, we will certainly also be united with HIM in a resurrection like his. 

6 For we know that our old self was crucified with HIM so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin— 

7 because anyone who has died has been set free from sin.

8 Now if we died with CHRIST, we believe that we will also live with HIM..." 

NOTE:  It takes a personal decision to choose JESUS as your LORD and SAVIOR and be united with HIM through immersion into a watery grave!
